The Shebeen Social Investment Fund has been created to establish the first Shebeen venue and aims to raise $250,000.
Current Australian tax law deems donations to Shebeen are not tax deductible, so we're looking for a number of smaller investor contributions ranging from $2,500 to $50,000.
The Shebeen Social Investment Fund offers a social return on investment rather than a financial return. Once funded, Shebeen is expected to make donations of $500,000 - $800,000 to our charity partners within three years of opening which corresponds to a 2 - 3.2 x donation return.
